Fodor's Review:
Kohan Japanese Restaurant. Masato Itoh runs the only Japanese restaurant in town, which gives him guaranteed access to busloads of tourists from his home country. Sushi, sashimi, and tempura are all on the menu. The restaurant has some of the best views over Lake Tekapo, but unfortunately it lacks atmosphere. The food, however, is a refreshing change from the more traditional lunch options in town. It's open for lunch from 11 to 2 and for dinner from 6 PM on.
