Dux de Lux

Fodor's Review:

An Arts Centre mainstay, this vegetarian and seafood restaurant inhabits a mock Tudor-style building that was once the student center of the university. You'll usually find Akaroa salmon on the menu, along with vegetarian picks such as pasta or quesadillas. The courtyard is popular for dining in summer, particularly on weekends during the market and live music performances. The Dux complex also has a boutique brewery, cocktail lounge, and live bands four nights a week.
