Fodor's Review:
This 1880s building with breeze-buffeted verandas is a superb example of colonial Outback architecture, and has 30 heritage style rooms with shared bathrooms. The adjoining motel has modern rooms, all with tropical decor and en suites. Rates include Continental breakfast and a light evening meal from PJ O'Brien's pub, which can get rowdy on weekends. The hotel is in the center of the Cairns Mall.
