Fodor's Review:
Cairns might be a long way from Europe, but you can easily imagine yourself at the Italian Rivera at this Continental boutique hotel. A 6 1/2-foot Italian marble replica of Michelangelo's David greets you in the foyer, and other intriguing objets d'art appear throughout. Spacious suites have a soft-green-and-coral color scheme, forged-iron and glass tables, and cane furniture plus fully-equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. There's a Mediterranean-style heated pool and a gazebo.
