Fodor's Review:
You may need to wait for a table, but the complimentary minestrone and crusty bread will tide you over at this Fremantle institution. You'll likely get a warm welcome from the Pizzale family, who have owned and run the restaurant for more than 50 years, before you sit down to fried calamari, panfried scaloppine in white wine, rich spaghetti Bolognese, and fresh salads. Simple white-linen tablecloths, carafes of chilled water, and the sounds of laughter and clinking glasses round out the experience. This is old-style Fremantle at its best.
