No visit to Fremantle is complete without a stop at this locally famous and widely beloved fish-and-chip shop. Housed in a boathouse-style building fronting the famous Fishing Boat Harbour, this place serves the real thing: freshly caught oysters, mussels, crabs, fish, lobsters, and chips, all wrapped up in butcher paper (no cardboard boxes or plastic plates here). While you eat, you can check out the huge aquarium, where more than 50 species of Fremantle marine life are on display.
