Can Gio

A maze of channels, inlets, and tiny hamlets hidden among swamp and forest, Can Gio has only appeared on the tourist radar within the last few years and so the amenities and services, set up to service the domestic tourist market, are quite basic. To make the most of a visit, going with a reputable tour company or a private tour guide is highly recommended. Tours usually include stops at the Rung Sac Guerilla Base, the Vam Sat eco zone, and sometimes the very brown Can Gio Beach. Without a guide, or at least someone who speaks Vietnamese, in your group, Can Gio can be a confusing and disappointing place to visit.
