Live Thai music greets you as you enter an expansive lobby lavishly decorated with Thai art. Six types of rooms include two-bedroom family villas, one-bedroom plunge pool villas, and rooftop villas that have penthouse salas with deck chairs and outdoor Jacuzzis. Wander across the beautifully landscaped grounds, past the jungle gym and volleyball and badminton courts, follow the scent of incense to the spa, or continue toward the sea, where sand has been transported across the road to create an authentic "beach" bar. The main pool has a domed, thatch-roof platform within the water. Pros: beachfront location; amazing facilities. Cons: slight package-tour feel.
