This hotel's chief attraction is its unbeatable location, right in the middle of the city facing the beach. Furthermore, post-tsunami renovations have made it the nicest resort in Patong. Towering flower displays stand in the lobby, where Buddhist Thai art adorns the walls, and large sliding glass doors exit to the beachside bar and adjacent pool. Among the hotel's other highlights are good travel services, a reputable dive shop, an outstanding restaurant, and a festive cigar/tapas bar, La Salsa, with pictures of Che smoking stogies and Fidel hamming it up with Hemingway. The beachside spa has glass doors and windows so that you can enjoy the view while having your treatments or massages. Pros: great beachfront spa; good restaurant and bar; best location in Patong. Cons: busy beach road traffic.
