There are many sets of bungalows on Kai Bae Beach, which has been backpacker central on Koh Chang for awhile, but this property is the most established and reliable. One-room bungalows have fans or air-conditioning. There are a few air-conditioned hotel rooms in an adjacent building, but the bungalows are closer to the beach. With so many other resorts around, you can easily wander over to nearby restaurants for a meal. Pros: fun people; central location. Cons: some rooms far from beach; no a/c in some bungalows.
