This large complex of three- and four-story wooden buildings looks like a small village—something like the castaways on Gilligan's Island would have developed after three or four generations. In fact, it's one of the oldest resorts on the cape and has undergone several renovations over the years. Well. some of the rooms have. Newer rooms have tile floors, air-conditioning, and standard amenities. Older ones have moldy wood and dodgy bedding. Nonetheless, the resort has a funky, tropical vibe, and is centrally located on East Railay Beach, a short walk from everything including beaches, climbing, and nightlife. Pros: inexpensive rooms available. Cons: parts of resort need renovation.
