Fodor's Review:

The best budget option in the area is near the Khao Lak Lamru National Park. Basic wooden huts have rattan walls and many windows that look out into the surrounding forest. A trail leads to a small sandy beach within the national park. Newer huts have a/c and balconies. Pros: budget accommodation; close to the national park. Cons: lacking amenities and pool.
