When selecting a room at this inn on the shore of Ao Phra Nang Beach, you can choose between the coconut wing and the betel-nut wing. The difference? Well, the rooms in the former are constructed from coconut palms, while those in the latter. well, you get the picture. The resort has a wonderfully kooky vibe—you might find headboards decorated with bright paintings of seashells and fish in the coconut wing and a few pieces of furniture might look like they're made from tree branches in the betel-nut wing. Even the bar, called the 75 Million Year Pub, is a little odd. The central location is also a big plus. Pros: airport shuttle available; central location. Cons: decor not for everyone.
