The exteriors of the thatched roof wooden huts appear weathered and worn and the restaurant is now a short walk away at the neighboring, co-owned Nakara, but the resort's simplicity is its charm. The rooms are rustic—floors and walls are made of wood the way Thai huts should be, natural, but airtight, to keep the mosquitoes out. Some huts, however, have a few amenities like air-conditioning, large windows, and decks with roll-down wind-rain screens. Years of expansion have resulted in a variety of rooms for the thriftiest backpacker as well as the spendthrifty hippie. Construction of the "nicer" Nakara resort benefits L.L.B Resort guests, who may now use the swimming pool next door. Pros: nice selection of accommodations. Cons: must go to neighboring resort for some facilities.
