This guesthouse is quite small, but in a cute and cozy way. Most rooms have balconies with partial sea views, but the huge seafront room has a full-on view of Phangan from its large deck, outdoor tub, and huge sun bed. Although the rooms in the old wing have aging furniture and a slightly musty smell, they are private enough that you can keep doors open at night to allow the breeze to blow through. Rooms in the new wing have a boutiquey decor, with beautiful wooden furniture and Thai art on the walls. The view from the pool is one of the best around—especially at this price point. Pros: good bang for your buck; easy beach access. Cons: not as comfy as some megachains; staff not so attentive.
