You'd be hard-pressed to find a more elegant hotel in Thailand—nor one quite as expensive (the nightly rate for the largest of the villas is more than $8,000!). The reception area, with beautifully polished teak floors, is completely open in the dry season so that you can enjoy the ocean breezes. Here you can find two palm-shaded restaurants overlooking the blue-tiled swimming pool. Choose between rooms in secluded hillside pavilions or immense villas with private swimming pools. Pavilion prices differ according to the view offered; villas have between two and six bedrooms. The split-level bar has stunning sunset views.

A cherished holiday hideaway that has never disappointed over the past several years. (Last visit was late October, 2011.)
Most stays have been rather brief, but always long enough to be joyfully rejuvenating. To keep expenses somewhat under control, almost all visits have been in low season, with a particular and sentimental garden pavilion lodging our preferred choice. (And will add, the wonderfully generous and accommodating Amanpuri has never failed to offer various 'repeat and preferred guest' promotions. Cannot praise the Amanpuri management and staff enough; some have become good friends occasionally encountered in Bangkok and Singapore.)
Many magical moments have been experienced here; swimming at dawn in the pristine Pansea with the loved one, for one.
Deepest gratitude to a special and 'peaceful place'.
