Koh Samet

Getting Here & Around

Koh Samet is a 30-minute, B150 passenger ferry ride from one of three piers in the small village of Ban Phe, east of Pattaya. Frequent (and cheap) minibuses travel between Ban Phe and Pattaya; the trip takes about an hour and a half. Ferries go to Na Duan on Samet's north shore and An Vong Duan, halfway down the eastern shore. The islands' beaches are an easy walk from either village; you can also take a songthaew from Na Duan down to the center of the island. It's a three-hour walk from the southern to the northern tip.
