Khaomao Khaofang Review

The location, about 5 km (3 mi) from the town center, really shouldn't dissuade you from enjoying one of the most beautiful restaurants in Thailand. This is like a national park of restaurants with spacious, forested grounds—thick-cut varnished teak wood tables are arranged under a variety of open-air pavilions, which are nearly buried in lush vegetation. It's a stunner, but the food is pricey and doesn't match up to the quality setting. The house specialties are all appetizers such as moo khao mao (fried pork with rice grain), muang gai gorp (crispy chicken wrapped in pendant leave), and gai tort grua (deep-fried chicken with salt).
