Timing

Lanta is traditionally a seasonal island. Many hotels and restaurants close in the low season. Between May and October things are quiet. The best time to come here is in the dry, cooler season, between November and April.

You can spend weeks on Lanta, if you love the sun and sea. There is still a great deal to do away from the beach, but people primarily come here to soak up the rays.
