A solid budget choice, this family-run hotel is a great base for those using Krabi as a stepping-stone to the islands beyond. The 10 rooms are unfussy but comfortable, and a few have balconies. The restaurant, serving Thai and Western food, has a good reputation and can get pretty busy. Located across from the exotic Krabi Day Market, the orange exterior of Hometel is hard to miss.
