If you plan to visit Chiang Mai and interested to buy handicrafts, Thai Tribal Crafts will be the best since the company is working with 7 hill tribes people of northern Thailand. It's Fair Trade products and all your purchase will definitely go back the tribal communities and artisans' families.
There are 2 shops in Chiang Mai and one in Mea Sot, Thai Burma border town. In Chiang Mai, you can buy at 208 Bamrungrat Rd.,

There is newly shop at 25/9 Moonmuang Rd.,
