Rooms at this small, Lanna-style hotel, halfway between Chiang Saen and Ban Sop Ruak, directly overlook the Mekong, with sweeping views across its swirling waters to the hills of Laos on the opposite bank. The hotel is comfortable and scrupulously clean, and run by a very friendly local family. Rooms are furnished in light veneers and pastel-shaded textiles.
