De River Boutique Resort Review
Most rooms at this small, Lanna-style hotel halfway between Chiang Saen and Ban Sop Ruak directly overlook the Mekong, with sweeping views across its swirling waters to the hills of Laos on the opposite bank. They are, however, more than double the price of rooms looking landwards. The hotel is comfortable and scrupulously clean, and run by a very friendly local family. Rooms are furnished in light veneers and pastel-shade textiles.
