The brook babbles right outside your cabin window if you ask for a room with a view at this well-run little resort. The teak cabins are tiny, but scrupulously clean. Those at the water's edge have terraces where you can soak up the uninterrupted view of sugarcane fields and the mountains beyond. Pros: near town, but still "away from it all." Cons: some cabins are small, with no river view; staff keep a very low profile.
