Cooling breezes from the Yuam River waft through the open-plan reception area, lounge, and dining room of this attractive hotel. Rooms are a simple but elegant synthesis of white walls, dark woods, and plain cotton drapes, with small terraces overlooking the river (Room 23 has a lamyai tree growing through its outside deck). The 12 rooms are quickly taken in high season, so if the hotel is full, the nearby, larger Riverhouse Resort (under the same management) is recommended. It's more expensive (B1,550-B2,700) but has more facilities. Pros: cozy, timber-walled bathrooms. Cons: limited restaurant menu.
