Fodor's Review

This riverside high-rise hotel was originally intended to cater to business executives trading across the nearby Thai-Burmese border, but now the guests are mostly travelers. Choose a room high up on the river side so you can spend an idle hour or two watching the flowing waters and the flowing pedestrian traffic across the bridge. Other rooms overlook the courtyard pool. The refurbished rooms offer a high standard of comfort, and are decorated mostly in soft shades of

cream and gold. Some have canopied four-poster beds. A grand piano is played during cocktail hour in the plush lounge.
