This riverside hotel was originally intended to cater to business executives trading across the nearby Thai-Burmese border, but now the guests are mostly travelers. Choose a room high up on the river side so you can spend an idle hour or two watching the flowing waters and the flowing pedestrian traffic across the bridge. Its modern rooms are neutral and sparsely furnished. Pros: pleasant riverside walks. Cons: bland room decor; room-cleaning service could be more thorough.
