Fodor's Review:

Don't confuse this cozy guesthouse with the backpackers' hangout at Ban Sop Ruak. This comfortable little place is all too popular—advance reservations are necessary due to its ideal location in the center of town. Wood-ceiling rooms are cooled by slowly turning fans. The café serves Thai and Western fare, while the terrace bar has a wide range of fruity drinks. Next door is a travel agency that arranges treks into Laos. Pros: central location; good travel service. Cons: bathrooms need upgrading; thin walls.
