Wat Pa Sak

Fodor's Review:

Just outside the city walls is the oldest chedi, Wat Pa Sak, whose name refers to the 300 teak trees that were planted in the surrounding area. The stepped temple, which narrows to a spire, is said to enshrine holy relics brought here when the city was founded.
