This floating teak Thai-style house on the Nan River is the more popular of the pontoon eateries in Phitsanulok; it draws the majority of tourists, as well as local businesspeople and their families. It's strikingly lighted up at night, impossible to miss from anywhere on the river. An extensive menu in English makes it the most comfortable riverside experience. The emphasis is on fresh seafood—the pla taptim (St. Peter's fish, a delicious freshwater variety found everywhere in Thailand) is particularly recommended, served steamed with a spicy lemon-and-lime sauce.
