Rock Climbing

You can go rock climbing right in the center of Chiang Mai at The Peak, a three-story-tall artificial rock face. The Peak Rock Climbing School (282 Chang Klan Rd. 053/820777. www.thepeakadventure.com) offers climbs for first-timers costing B300 and three-day courses for more advanced climbers costing B5,800. A four-day tour that includes climbs up rock faces in the Pai and Mae Hong Son areas costs B7,100. The facility is on Chang Klan Road behind the Night Bazaar.
