Getting Here & Around

The best way to reach Si Saket is by train, as the rail station is centrally located and service frequent. The town is small enough to cover on foot, but samlors are available for B20 to B30.

By Bus

The trip to Si Saket from Korat by bus takes about five hours and costs B250. There are better and more convenient connections by rail.

By Car

Si Saket lies on Route 226 from Korat to Ubon, and is about four hours by car from Korat.

By Train

The Northeastern Line runs frequent service from Bangkok to Korat, and then east to Si Saket on the line terminating at Ubon Ratchathani. Service to Bangkok costs B450-B1,300, depending on class or type of train. As it is an eight- to nine-hour journey, a sleeper may be preferable. Si Saket's train station is on Ratchagarn Rot Fai Road, a five-minute walk from the Phrompiman Hotel and downtown.
