This is as close as Buriram has to a top-end hotel and a serviceable place to rest up while investigating the nearby ruins. The English-speaking staff will give you a warm welcome, though the aesthetic and quite drab look of the place lends a slightly depressing tone to it all. The value is good by Western standards, but not by the standards of Buriram. It's a 5- to 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the center of town. Pros: can arrange transport/tours to Phanom Rung; nice swimming pool; English spoken; superior rooms include buffet breakfast. Cons : far from center of town; carpets in rooms old and worn; cigarette smell in some rooms.
