This is one of the city's oldest hotels and probably its most famous. Upon entering the lobby, you'll be greeted by a life-size bronze of Luang Por Koon, the province's most famous monk. The lobby opens up into a 24-hour dining area with polished stone floors, chandeliers, and oil paintings. The rooms have an old-world feel. Pros: centrally located; deluxe rooms have been refurbished; B99 buffet lunch downstairs. Cons: noisy karaoke and cocktail lounge downstairs; no dinner restaurant on premises; standard rooms are tiny.
