Bua Luang

Bua Luang Review

This enormous, open-plan lakeside restaurant is perched on the northern end of Lake Bueng Kaen Nakhon, extending out into the water. It's the biggest in the city, but the setting justifies the place's renown. The menu is a blend of Isan, Thai, and Chinese. One specialty worth trying is the tom yam mapow orn (prawns with coconut palm heart in a spicy hot-and-sour soup).
