A popular evening eatery, Phu Tawan is a must for Thai folk-rock-music lovers. A booming band plays to an excitable local crowd, who spend all evening jumping up to dance and sing along with the musicians. It's only a minute's walk from the Thepnakorn Hotel. Recommended dishes are the local spicy minced pork dish larb moo and yum takrai, a lemongrass-and-dried-shrimp salad.
