Wat Khaek Review

Thailand's strangest temple grounds are 5 km (3 mi) west of town on the Nong Khai-Phon Pisai Road at Wat Khaek, better known as Sala Kaew Koo. The temple's gardens, created by an ecumenically minded monk, have an extraordinary collection of immense (and immensely bizarre) statues representing gods, goddesses, demons, and devils from many of the world's faiths, though the emphasis is on Hindu gods.
