Getting Here & Around
By Air
PB Air has flights from Bangkok to Buriram. Buriram's airport is 30 km (18 mi) northeast of town.
By Bus
Buses from Korat to Buriram leave hourly, cost B120, and take around two hours. Bangkok buses to Buriram leave as frequently and are B333 or B515 (for VIP service with air-conditioning), and take six hours to reach Mo Chit Station. Buriram's bus station is about 2 km (1 mi) west of downtown.
By Car
Buriram is on Highway 226, which runs directly from Korat, continuing on toward Surin.
By Taxi & Tuk-Tuk
Tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis can take you anywhere in town for B40-B60.
By Train
The Northeastern Line runs frequent service from Bangkok to Buriram, on the line that terminates at Ubon Ratchathani. The most convenient train departs Bangkok at 10:05 arriving in Buriram at 4:14. Prices from Bangkok range from about B375 to B1,150, depending on class; from Korat prices are approximately B200-B875. Buriram's train station is less than 1 km (½ mi) north of downtown on Nasathanee Road.
