Pattaya Elephant Village Review

Children love the Elephant Kraal, where a few dozen pachyderms display their skills in a two-hour show. There are demonstrations of everything from their part in ceremonial rites to their usefulness in construction. Everything is staged, but it's always fun to see elephants at work and at play. It's a bit unsettling to see these gentle giants languishing in the city, but the Elephant Kraal has a good reputation as one of the few places that doesn't mistreat the animals. One-hour elephant rides are available for an extra B1,200 between 8 and 5. For tickets, go to the Tropicana Hotel on Pattaya 2 Road.

One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen!

Elephant Kraal means elephant-village and it is located at Pattaya in Thailand. It is incredible what people do there with these animals. The main idea is that they take care of all the elephants that have been ill or cannot work anymore. Because yes! Elephants do work in Thailand. But at the Village the elephants are safe and protected. It is a lovely project and a nice place to visit. If you want you can book a few nights there as they offer all the facilities hotels have. If that is not your cup of tea, like me, you can go and visit the animals while you support a good cause. This place was One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen!
