Muang Kulaypan Hotel Review
This hotel puts a little more emphasis on design than some of its neighbors. Instead of the teak, antiques, and flowing fabrics you'll find at most resorts going for a "classic Thai" look, here you'll get simple lines, minimal furnishings, and sharp contrasts. There's a sort of subtle Javanese-Thai theme throughout, reflected in the artwork selected for the rooms. The VIP Inao Suite allows you to sleep in a bed once used by King Rama IV. Bussaba Thai restaurant ($$$) serves uncommon but authentic Thai food. Note that rooms in the wings, farther from the main road, are considerably quieter.
