Chiang Mai Aquarium

Chiang Mai Aquarium Review

Asia's biggest aquarium opened in Chiang Mai in 2008. The vast project, on a 4-acre plot next to the city's zoo, features a walk-through underwater tunnel more than 160 yards long. About 8,000 aquatic creatures, embracing 250 species, stock the aquarium. Several varieties of sharks, including the Great White, swim around visitors as they make their way through the viewing tunnel. More daring visitors can don mask and snorkel and join the big fish in the water (B700). There's also a daily water ballet performance by a stunning mermaid.
