Built in 1870, this teak-beamed home is one of Chiang Mai's true treasures. It's furnished with antiques from the area's finest shops. If you like the chair you're sitting on or the table in front of you, it's possible to add to your (surprisingly modest) bill an order for a replica from a local workshop. The menu is authentic northern cuisine—try the Hang Led pork curry, spiced up with ginger, or the grilled chicken in pandanus leaves. A big surprise is the wine list—small
but with some rare finds and unusual selections.
