While there are many authentic Korean restaurants in the Sukhumvit Plaza, this barbecue joint is one of the best. Even though there are three stories of tables, there's often a wait, even at 9 pm on a weeknight. Table barbecue—you cook the meat yourself over a grill at your table—featuring hearty bulgogi (thin slices of beef in a tasty marinade) is a good way to go, as are the substantial tofu stews. Drinks include a larger selection of sake and soju (a rice-based Korean drink similar to vodka, but with a lower alcohol content) than you'll find elsewhere in the city.
