Book NowPan Pacific Review
Though the Pan Pacific chain is particularly popular with Asian and business travelers, its appeal extends to American vacationers as well. The decor at the Bangkok branch is a little dated, but the hotel gets a lot of other things right: it's in the middle of the city; it has a beautiful pool; and there are a number of very nice (though pricey) suites on the Pacific Floor. At this writing, some ongoing construction was due to end in 2009, but it's worth checking when you book to be sure they're running on schedule.
