Though it's nothing fancy, this eatery has a friendly and inviting feel, an English-language menu, and air-conditioning. If you come for the food rather than the creature comforts, you won't be disappointed: the authentic Isan menu includes regional specialties like fried snakehead fish with spicy sauce, banana-flower salad, raw shrimp, fried morning glory, and Isan sausage. Those who have traveled in northeastern Thailand will be overcome with nostalgia.
