The newest restaurant to arrive at the State Tower (home of some of Bangkok's priciest restaurants), this ultra-hip, sky-high spot is where you'll spot Bangkok's moneyed set as well as international jet-setters. The shockingly futuristic design will have you thinking it's 2060, an effect that's most pronounced at night when the dining room glows with purple neon. The menu includes a mix of Asian- and international-style meat dishes in addition to seafood, often in over-the-top preparations such as silver cod caramelized with Laurent Perrier Champagne. The environmentally controversial shark's fin soup is served with free-range eggs and organic greens—an ironic juxtaposition.
