Lotus ponds reflect the city's beautiful evening lights at this romantic restaurant. The upmarket Thai food is good, with elegant touches that cater to locals as well as foreigners. The extensive menu includes preparations of enormous river prawns, excellent red duck curry, stir-fried morning glory, and a good version of banana-blossom salad. Some of the seafood dishes can be prepared in different styles; the best is with chili and basil. Ask for your dishes spicy if you want the more authentic Thai balance of flavors; sometimes their dishes are too sweet.
