Book NowHilton Millennium Review
Lording over the Chao Phraya in postmillennial splendor, this flagship Hilton—which, like the Peninsula, is reached via hotel-operated ferry service from the downtown riverbank at the end of the Skytrain—offers some of the most cutting-edge room design and hotel facilities in the city, competing successfully with Bangkok's longstanding hotel giants at considerably lower prices. The infinity pool hangs like a waterfall off the edge of the cleverly designed deck, an urban beach overlooking the entire city skyline. Towering above everything else, the 32nd-floor open-air roof deck, executive lounge, and chilled-out bar all have spectacular panoramas. Rooms (aside from suites) are on the small side, but their setups compensate well enough for that, and bathrooms seem 22nd century. Every single room in the hotel has river and city views.

The Millenium Hilton is a fascinating hotel, right on the beautiful river. We stayed there in november and we had a memorable vacation: our room was spacious and very well decorated but what amazed us was the incredible view, we enjoyed staying in the room watching the river activity with its different boats, really nice.
The hotel is quite elegant and it has all we needed: a very smart pool, top class restaurants, in particular the steakhouse. In the evening we went to the 360 bar on the top floor from where the town could be seen in its splendid night vision.
We liked the free private ferry which took us on the other side of the river to Shopping malls and to the BTS (elevated train) station.
After one week in this hotel we tried a private apartment on the same side of the river that we found in the high class website www.TheRiversideBAngkok.com and we have been very happy as well.
Overall we believe that the Millenium Hilton is a really good place to stay in BAngkok by the river
