Depending on your taste, this colorful hotel will be either a bit too kitschy or a refreshing compromise between the tiny guesthouses and giant towers that constitute most of the city's lodgings. Though Reflections moved to a new location in 2007, the decor stayed the same: Each room is decorated by a different Thai artist, with an emphasis on freedom of expression and recycling of old architectural or design materials. There are also innovative products for everyday use on sale at the funky gallery-restaurant. Pros: unique hotel; cool gallery on-site; friendly and helpful staff. Cons: not convenient to city center; rooms are a bit busy.
