Polo Fried Chicken
Polo Fried Chicken Review
After offering only a lunch menu for decades, Polo Fried Chicken finally responded to its unwaning popularity by expanding its hours until 10 pm. The addition of an air-conditioned dining room is also a recent concession to its loyal clientele. Here you'll get world-class fried chicken, flavored with black pepper and plenty of golden-brown garlic; the best way to sample it is with sticky rice and a plate of som tam, all for only B170. The place is a bit hard to find—as you enter Soi Polo, it's about 50 yards in on your left. At lunchtime, you need to get here before noon to snag a table before the office workers descend. The restaurant will deliver to your hotel (if you're reasonably close to Lumphini Park) for B30.

Yum! It was a challenge finding this place, on a small street (more like an alley) but was it ever worth it. Delicious fried chicken and green papaya salad, along with two bottles of water, all for less than $4! Great recommendation.

Some of the best fried chicken that I have ever tasted. It's a bit hard to find, probably should have the directions written out in Thai for a taxi driver from your hotel. This place definitely should not be missed.
