Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Review
The Sheraton soars 33 floors above the noisy city streets, and the suites on the upper floors get tons of natural light. Standard rooms are a bit formulaic—you won't find any Thai-influenced accoutrements—but they're pleasant. You'll never go hungry here: on street level is BarSu, serving sushi, while the Orchid Café on the second floor lays out an international buffet. In the afternoon you can enjoy tea in the lounge or cocktails in the rotunda. On the third floor, the health club and the serpentine swimming pool are in a lovely garden. Here you can also find a Thai restaurant and, during the dry months, a barbecue. The Skytrain is connected to the hotel via a covered walkway from the station to the lobby, and the subway station is next door.
