Book NowSheraton Grande Sukhumvit Review
The Sheraton soars 33 floors above the noisy city streets, and the suites on the upper floors get tons of natural light. Standard rooms are a bit formulaic—you won't find any Thai-influenced accoutrements—but they're pleasant enough. You never go hungry here: on street level is Basu, serving sushi, while the Orchid Café on the second floor lays out an international buffet. In the afternoon you can enjoy tea in the lounge or cocktails in the rotunda. On the third floor, the health club and the serpentine swimming pool are laid out amid a lovely garden. Here you can also find a Thai restaurant and, during the dry months, a barbecue. The Skytrain is connected to the hotel via a covered walkway from the station to the lobby, and the subway station is next door (and below) the Skytrain station.

Have always experienced fine times and superb service at this business travel favourite over the past ~ dozen years. ... Arrivng late evening and departing early morning (ideally with 'our' cherished Singapore Airlines) helps avoid a 'bit' of that Bangkok traffic. ... If travelling with a loved one, the hotel's serene pool affords little nooks and crannies for quiet, tender moments. ... 'The Library' is a perfect place for after-work drinks and jazz. (Such gracious waitresses, gliding by, in flowing, full-length 'evening gowns'.) ... By now, the great staff and 'personal butlers' know my 'special room', a peaceful, end-of-hall location, with a 'lake view'. ... If so inclined, the hotel is rather convenient for some rather memorable 'nightlife'. ... Thanks SGS staff, for years of wonderful service. ... Savour your time, in a most special part of the cosmos...
