On the 37th floor of the Sofitel Silom Bangkok, V-9 has great views through its ceiling-to-floor windows. Skip the pricey, underwhelming steaks; the Australian lamb is a solid pick, though, and the pièce de résistance is the sleek oyster bar, where fresh-tasting mollusks are shipped in from all over the world. Good luck selecting just one bottle of wine—long rows of crates with more than 60 vintages of French, Italian, Australian, Californian, and South African wines line the entrance.
